Mind Reading Show

On Thursday night my office and many other offices in the area were invited to a nearby community for supper. The entertainment for the evening was a couple who put on a mind reading show. The husband was sort of the MC and his wife was the mind reader. You might say that I am sort of a skeptic on this subject. I guess I just don't like things that can't be explained. At one point, they asked an audience member to pick four numbers to play the lottery, they asked a different audience member to pick how much money she would want to win, and another member what she would buy for herself with that money if she won. One of these people in the audience that they asked was my co-worker who I happened to ride with that evening. The MC guy took out a piece of paper from his coat pocket and told us his wife had written some things down on that paper earlier that afternoon. The correct number, the correct amount, and the correct purchases were all written on that piece of paper. They passed it around and we could read it. I hate this stuff....
