Sign Of Spring?
As I was driving home from work today, I passed a local college campus and noticed that someone had built a large snowman on the grounds. In the midwest, this is not an unusual sight in the winter but this particular snowman gave me pause. He was holding a very pretty pink parasol in the crook of his right arm to sheild him from the sun. It gave me a little giggle. I don't think he has too much cause for worry, as the temperatures have rarely been above freezing, though I hope it won't be too long before he starts to get smaller and smaller.

Gold Bullion
Are you an investor? If you are, then you are probably aware that gold is on the move and has reached it's highest price in two weeks. As the value of this precious metal increases, the dollar is weakening, making gold a much more appealing investment. With today's economy, many investors are unwilling to take the risks they once were, and many are looking for a commodity that will retain it's value. As long as European and American markets are on shaky ground, it is the opportune time to buy gold bullion. For the time being, gold is on the rise and everyone is watching.

Sales! Sales! Sales!
On Saturday I decided to visit the nearest mall, just to relieve the "cabin fever" that has overtaken me this winter. I had heard about a sales promotion going on at the cosmetics counter of a large department store and I wanted to check it out. To my surprise everyone and their grandma decided to visit the same mall! They must have been suffering the ill effects of the same "cabin fever"! Finally found a parking place about 2 blocks away and made my way into the mall. Checked out the cosmetics promo (free 10 day supply of foundation) and thought, as long as I was there, I might as well do a little window shopping (as my mother would have called it). Yes, you guessed it, I didn't just "window shop". I bought a coat, a scarf, and a purse! The sales were just too good to pass up and the side effect was that my "fever" was lowered by several degrees!!
