Small Town Life

John Mellencamp sings about small town life in many of his songs. I'm born and raised small town and one of the things I love best about living in a small town is going out after work with several friends to the local sports bar. Nine times out of ten you will know almost everyone in the bar and they will know you. If not, you know their mother or their brother. One of the things I dislike about small town life is going out after work to the local sports bar and knowing almost everyone in the bar and knowing that they, also, know you and your mother and your brother.
