They Don't Make Them Like They Used To

My ever-faithful Whirlpool washing machine took it's last breath about a week ago. I called the repair man immediately but he didn't have good news... "not able to repair, you need a new one, this one is 30 years old!" I hate it when things you depend on and take for granted stop working. Well, off to the appliance center I went only to become more disappointed. The cheaper machines that I looked at were just that....CHEAP! I don't need all the new bells and whistles, just a good dependable machine that will clean my clothes. I bet none of the ones I looked at, whether they were top of the line or in my price range, will last even 20 years.
