Hometown Celebration

Whew! July is almost over and it has been a busy month. It started with a trip back to my old hometown for their 125 year celebration. Except for the weather, it was a memorable weekend. I attended a Tonic Sol Fa concert on that Friday night. They are an acapella group that have become quite popular in the last 10 years. On Saturday, we saw the parade and I attended a social get-together in the evening. Saw many faces that I hadn't seen since highschool. Class reunions are always fun, but when you get a whole group of people from different graduating classes it is the best. Many people had changed but not all that much...a little less hair, a little more weight, and wrinkles we didn't dream of having when we were young. I had a great time.
